A quick abridged review of what I have done...replaced the core, removed the gel coat, painted with brightsides, rebuilt the motor, restored the trailer. I&#039;m not sure what model this is.<br />
I was told that it&#039;s a 1700 rid &amp; glide. It has a Volvo Penta engine and that&#039;s about all i know.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Well, after a year, I have finally got around to posting some pictures.  The boat is a 1961 I/O with the AQ 80 Volvo Penta Engine (the marine version of the B16a engine.)  I just bought a house with a garage and am putting the boat inside to work on it.  The first item of business is replacing the core.  It seems to be made with 3/4 inch balsa.  I am ordering the wood from Nida-core as was suggested.  I&#039;ll probably end up using West System for the layup.  I can get it at a retailer here in...<br />

This is the Australian version of the Hydrodyne! Back in the 60&#039;s Caribbean/Bertram - then Oz&#039;s largest boat builders - licensed a design called appropriately &#039;Crosby; - and it was used for the 1965 World Titles/Moomba and most State tournaments here, usually twin 100 Merc powered, right through to the mid 70&#039;s. The last Moomba Crosby&#039;s had twin 140 blue band Merc&#039;s in 1974 (Yikes!!!) but do you think I can find a picture of it?<br />
