That is a nice looking rig. What's it back-story?

The boat in the photo is a 1978 that I bought several years ago when I was visiting Wisconsin. I visit Wisconsin often because when I was growing up my parents had a several hundred acre horse farm that included most of the shoreline around a 60 acre lake in central Wisconsin. My 9 siblings and I did a lot of skiing on that lake. Much of the property is still owned by family. I have four more 18 foot Hydrodyne’s. Two of them are in such poor condition that I don’t think anyone would want to try and rebuild them. I have one 1977 that I recently purchased from a gentleman in Manitoba, it is in very good condition and has a bat wing trailer. Three of my brothers have 80's Dyne's.
