    Hello everyone,
I am looking for whatever information which I can learn about my new boat. I have included part of the registration to help with Hull ID numbers and whatnot. She's a 19-foot sleek beauty built in 1967 and powered by the 120hp Mercruiser (Iron Duke motor) She's very original from what I can tell other than a poor repaint on the topsides (this will be repainted)

After some work on the ignition system, she runs but needs to be fine-tuned (fresh gas would help too!) I plan to re-wire as the electrical is a bit of a mess, but the overall condition is great and even the seats are still soft.

Here is where I need help... I love to know all about things like this when I buy them and I have only found one mention of another boat listed as a Hot Shot. The 19' length seems to be an oddball too (I did measure her, and the length is correct) The closest one I have found, a robbin egg blue boat once named Fine Dyneing is very close, but 17' and it has a ton of little differences even being a port drive where mine is starboard drive.

So.... what secrets can you tell me? Just how rare is this, I have yet to find even one just like it in a week of searching online and it's driving me crazy!

Sorry... I cut out the old owners' info, that was their birthday on the registration. I will check out the link!

Well, I opened every page and did not find one even close.

It looks a lot like this one shown below. It comes out to 19’10” according to the specs. How close is that to yours?

the one interesting thing about Crosby and Hydrodyne is that you could have custom things done to your hull if you wanted too.

20200908_165553.jpg She's almost dead on 19' as best as I can measure it over the scoop. That hull is the one like the 17-footers with the "wings" on the rear half. Mine does not have that at all

It also looks like it has a stepped hull vs the normal smooth round bottom.
You do have an interesting design.

I remember reading that Hydrodyne built a few deep v boats with the strakes. I do not recall the source.

That is cool to know... I wish I could find out more about this boat, but I am stumped. I find a couple of photos with this shape, maybe three in all. But they all have differences that are pretty big.

So I think I may have found something as close as I will ever get to online info. A publication put out apparently by Mercury has a 15' boat which not only carries the "Hot Shot" model name, it looks very much like it with the obvious four-foot loss in length. The hardware all seems the same, but mine is located differently

It appears the interior may be a bit different, I do not see the storage pockets along the side, and obviously it has a smaller motor. BUT... this is the boat and model from what I can tell. Oddly enough, this publication was from 1965 and my boat is 1967, so it looks like it may have been around for a couple of years at least.
