I found a guy who might be willing to make the Hydrodyne logo's that are on the back of the boats in Aluminum. He would like me to gauge the interest in them and what people might be willing to pay.

Let me know what you think,

    Daniel,

Are the ones on the boat metal? I never really looked close, but I thought they were plastic.

The originals are plastic but he said he could machine them from anodized aluminum for longevity on his CNC unit.

    Hi Daniel,

The plastic ones I have right now are in pretty good shape but will eventually have to be replaced.

Will these be exact copies? I would want the existing screw holes left as is so I wouldn't have to drill any additional holes.

    My 2 cents worth.

I figure that he would put in the exact screw holes. He has an older dyne that is rotten through and through so he plans on junking it while looking for another boat. He is not a member yet that I know of. He owns a machine shop and asked if there might be a market for it. I also have asked him about the rub rail end caps and have not received a response.

I'd be game for a set of aluminum rub rail end caps.

If he's looking for an 18, I think there's one in northeast Indiana that's as close to new as you can get.

I am in if they fit the existing holes.
