I have a 1966 hydrodyne can someone tell me where i might find a rear bench seat for it. I also need a few chrome peices, i have everything but some of it is in too bad of shape to salvage. One other thing is the windshield, eher do get a new one.
As far as I know, there is no source for any of those parts. Most of the hardware on the Dynes was standard at the time, but may no longer be in production. I would either have yours re-chromed or substitute new standard parts. Some pieces for the 18 are still available like the deck fuel fill. I would think that it would not be too difficult to fabricate a rear seat, or have one fabricated. Pictures would help. jim
This is the only Dyne windshield I have ever seen advertised: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hydrodyn ... QQtcZphoto jim
shouldn't there be a cutout for the instrument bubble on that windshield? Makes me wonder if it will fit or not. Either way, they are better off without the windshield.
It isn't clear what type of Hydrodyne he is referring to. I think those windshields are for the older I/O Hydrodyne runabouts - not the ski boats.
i am not too sure what i have here it is 16 ft closed bow i would say a runsbout it has a b18 volvo with two carbs it has a single bench type seat with one shock and two coil springs i will put some photos on here over the weekend
tell me this how do you dyners feel about me changeing the old twin carb volvo motor and foot for a newer rig, the motor is in running order, but i am worried about rebuilding the carbs, i cant find a kit. also i dont understand the the water pump i dont see water inlets on the foot
If you look here, you will see a couple of pictures of the 16 from our media galleries: http://www.hydrodyners.com/images/1960a ... o4of12.jpg http://www.hydrodyners.com/images/1960a ... o6of12.jpg jim
