Any suggestions on making the Dyne a better wakeboard tow boat? I have a '72 Tournament Skier and the only real problem is wake size (too low).
Trim and weight are the keys. I used to practice with a friend and his 72 18'. That boat had the best trick wake of anything I ever skied behind including 1980's Nautiques, MasterCrafts, and Hydrodynes. He had twin Merc 115s, and used four portable 6 gallon fuel cans sitting as far aft as possible. You are probably wakeboarding at a higher speeds than we tricked, but the principles are the same. With some experimentation adjusting trim and weight, you should be able to produce a nice crisp wake. Scott
