Over on showskiers there is a new thread talking about Dyna-Ski making a new hull that can possibly accomodate four motors. What is you guy's feeling on that? Over kill, or no?
Greg, I had heard several years ago Tom Miller was looking into the same thing for another local club. It was going to be a 24-26 footer with a super wide beam. The project just died a natural death. ( 4 ) -300 h.p. engines needed ? You make the call....... Bob
My opinion is this, what are you planning on pulling that you can't already pull with 3 big block outboards? I think we are at our limit on size of show acts. I think a quad rigged boat would be complete overkill, as well as a waste of fuel. That would be very costly for a team to run. My question would be how would you rig the dang thing? And how would the lower unit rotation set up be?
I think a prototype should at least be prouduced, it would be fun to see it even if its never prouduced again. (just my opinion) anyone know how many skiers it could pull ,with the right combination of engines and rigging?
