Six months start to finish, found in a storage yard, sitting for twelve years. It had a tree growing out of the floor. Removed floor and transom. Replaced with three new stringers, filled with foam, covered with 3/8 plywood than glassed. has a 1973 150hp Mercury. Completely rebuilt and power coated. New SK type front seats, custom rear bench seat. Trailer sand blasted and completely redone. Just took it out today, ran great, has two airguide speedometers, one leaks ( next project).

This is what it looked like when I found her. She had a rotten balsa floor which I removed, added and glassed in three stringers and put in marine foam. Primed painted and in the water. Has a LaserII 21" prop does 45mph and is rock solid.
Not sure I want to go any faster in this. Thanks for all the comments and for looking.

    See Ya!
    Paul

That boat is such a cool looking boat and you did a great job. And I like that black engine on the back. :good:

    Hi Paul,

Congratulations, it is great to see another 18 saved. It looks good and you have a nice light weight package there. It should be a excellent handler.

If you can keep the boat inside and dry, it will last a long time.

    Great job on the restoration.

Did you do the hull in some type of urethene paint or did you have it gel-coated ?

    Hello Mark
Thanks for the compliment. Viewed many of your photo's during my built, got alot of tips from looking. I did almost what you did except I did not remove the deck. The trailer is original except for the tires (new). Going to be posting more pictures of the build soon. Do you know what the value of these boats are. I have it insured, but have no idea if I am in the ballpark.

    Thanks
    Paul
