Thanks guys! Well - my twin rig project has been sitting... Snowmobile season got in the way, and my engine purchase deal seems to have fallen through, at least for now, so the project has stalled just a bit. I'm actually going to be looking at yet another boat this weekend that would get me in a twin rig this summer so that I can take my time on the other one. We'll see.... I hope to be working on the project again when snowmobile season is over. Thanks again!! :good:
Hey Mark: Happy B-day!...and I feel your pain with the boat projects and time constraints. I coach kids alpine club team and a high school ski racing team along (4 nights a week from Dec through March) and with my regular job, time in the winter for other projects becomes extremely limited. Regarding boat restoration, my rule is two steps forward, three steps back. The 1985 i/o 20' gets a new transom later this month. I just wanted to replace the transom plate but the transom fiberglass deflection flex "gremlins" showed up. Also replacing the engine stringers while the engine is out. Good luck with the Bano Marina. The Bugel marine surplus is down to the 1975 18' i/o and the 1985 20' i/o; the 6 meter Nacra NA catamaran was sold this spring (scary fast sailboat). My best, Kevin Bugel Brookfield, WI
