I procured a 1969 24' Flat Top with a 160 hp Mercruiser i/o. Viewing the restorations (many thanks to all who were generous enough to create a wealth of information), that they reflect the ski model. My question: is the bottom composite of the flat tops, i.e. core, then stringers, etc, the same as the ski boats? my engine stringers appear to be enclosed in fiberglass but the fiberglass is cracked where the stringers meet the the bottom of the hull, plus the transom looks to be pretty well gone. I greatly appreciate any information and direction as I am going to take a run at getting it lake worthy, if possible. Many thanks! Sorry, I'm at satobey53@gmail.com
