We just got back home. We took a little vacation after the nationals. Pictures and narrative of the nationals can be found at: http://www.showskiers.com One of the new boats from Fiberglass Products and Boat Repair (Tom Miller) was there with a 25 inch transom specially built for a pair of the new merc Verado 250's. These are inline six four strokes with supercharger. Tom Miller's boats are now called "the Dyne". They are the same as his previous boats which were called "Dyna-Ski", or "Twin Rig". They have been marketed toward club use for many years. There were Dynes there with 3 250 Yamahas and 3 250 mercs, very impressive pulling power. The Backwater Gamblers from Rock Island IL are an all Dyne club. They do not have a triple yet, so for their pyramid they fastened the tow harness of one boat to a release on the bow of tow 1. With 4 225's on two boats they pulled the pyramid off the dock with 900 hp. After is gets going Tow 1 releases the front boat and takes the pyramid around. It was great fun to watch and came off ok. The Wonder Lake IL team had a 20 with 3 250 Yamahas. He took off with two prebuilt three tier pyramids and did a hot pick up of four more prebuilt three tier pyramids! More later if there is interest. jim
These are photos at the Mastercraft site of the Wonderlake pyramid act at the nationals. They explain it pretty well: http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=11113 You have to love this one and comment on it. The boat is a Dyne by Tom Miller with three 250 Yamahas on the back. I posted this in error on the other thread. Here it is in the right place. jim
