I look forward to hearing from you; the events keep getting closer and I have not yet heard of any suggestions for the '08 Regatta and just a few about the '07 Nationals. We will have our work cut out for us in the near future, but it will be very enjoyable work.

Unfortunatly, I have bad news about my going to the Nationals this year.

I am working on buying a house and I will not be able to attend this year because of it. I waited until the last possible moment to figure out if I could swing it with work, trying to buy a house and other things. So that said I apologize and look forward to actually bring the boat out next year when things have calmed down a bit. Please take a bunch of pictures though.

Please tell me that it has a garage for the boat. Good show, I am sure you will enjoy furnishing it and making it everything you want. How about some pictures.

Just a note, I think that the rights to pictures of national has been sold. There may be a problem with posting pictures online. I will check that out at the tournament. I know there was a problem last year with a photographer that has been doing that for years.

I don't believe I have ever seen any controls booths at Nationals.

I believe the booths there will be:
    Malibu
    Tom Miller - The Dyne
    Dyna-ski?
    Lake Elmo Sports

    Possibly some other small ones

Livorsi will not be at Nationals but I have a catalog from them that I can bring down to Rockford. You can visit their website at http://www.livorsi.com/ I will be there for individuals on Friday and we ski first on Saturday. I'm sitting out this year but will be in the skiers area during our show.

    Edd,

I was going to definately look you up when I got to the show. I am considering changing my contols from the standard Mercury single lever to the dual Livorsi's. What has been your experiance with these units? I'm looking for more throtle control. The Mercury box is a little sloppy and has a very small throtle band. I now contol the speed by tweeking the throtle with my wrist ever so slightly. (I've about mastered it but it's not easy. )
I'm going to the show on Saturday, and I still have your cell phone number so let's hook up. How did you do at the N.M.C.S. meet? I told my son to look you up when he was there (Fri. & Sat.) but he said he couldn't find your car.

Sounds good I'll be around most of the day.

Joliet didn't go so good. We didn't get the motor ready. Had to many small issues with the new engine so we just became spectators. It sucked big time. I guess I'm a better participant than I am a spectator. LOL Went back last week and finished the motor and made 25 pulls on the dyno and we have it making more power with a smaller tuneup so we are looking forward to Michigan the weekend after Nationals.

Had to repair a pontoon Sunday after practice Saturday in Rockford. Guess the barge driver didn't see the rock! :drink: I'm glad we're skiing first on Saturday! Look for the tailgate party with the Bloody Mary's after 11am.

    Folks

Unfortunately, as I previously mentioned could happen, my plans have changed and I will be unable to attend Nationals this weekend. I hope that some of you take some pictures to post on the website for those of us who cannot attend.
