Lake Kinkaid Rocks. It's not too far from where I went to school at Southern Illinois University. I've been going back there for vacations ever since.
Dad, it happened in Cincinnati too. Where haven't we skied? TwinRig, I just moved away from that area (near St. Louis).
Well, your mom remembered that something went wrong that day. She could not remember what though. CRS you know.
I have discussed a Regatta with a few people and I think that the best coarse of action for this upcomming season is to all meet at the Ski Show Nationals in IL (Aug 2007). We can see some cool Dyne and Show SKi action, meet one another and perhaps throw some ideas around for the following year. Daniel
Hello There fellow dyners, Must Ski Motors has a great idea there, possibly getting to use the show site after the show season is over. It seems like there might be enough hotel/motel rooms and places to park Dynes. The water is still warm into early september and this isnt too far away from the main drag, Interstate 90.
I would also agree with must-ski-motors, and Tim sprandel Both our teams compete in division 2. DII. nats is the week before DI nats. So our teams are still obligated to our scheduled home shows the week of DI nationals.
I am going to talk things over with Tim he has graciously volunteered his services to help plan a 2008 Regatta. For 2007 I plan on flying out to the nationals to meet everyone and get some planning going. I would agree if a show team would let us use their area we can have a great time. So give me a run down on which show teams are willing to volunteer there home for a weekend? The more boats the better. I would like to see RAJs 2 verado Dyne and a 3 engine job. I want to make this a big deal since we will only be able to do this every couple of years do to the wide range of area that people will have to come from. (I will be towing from California) if Jim comes and brings his boat that will be from Florida. This would be a great opportunity for all to have a great time and see a huge turn out of Dynes. Daniel
The Twin Lakes boat might show up, too. That is if it still exists in the same form that the Twin Lakes Marine website shows it. I believe that it is a Dyna-Ski boat, but with triple 225's (Merc Optimax) towing skiers, it is a thing of beauty. www.twinlakesmarina.com
