Not mine, but I just saw this craigslist ad, and looks to be in nice condition for the pictures shown, and seems like a good price for someone in the market.

Hi Bob and Tom H. this appears to be a nice setup if the owner/seller responds. Likeky a 302 Mercruiser or less based on the engine cowl. The 75 had a 351 and the cowl was a bit taller.

It's possible the engine could be the 292 Chevy straight 6 like the one I just sold last summer .

 

Wow Bob.... You go through a lot of Hydrodynes (or boats in general). Never want to compare Hydrodynes to toilet paper, sox, or underwear but the one last summer never hit the grid. So the truth be told, how many Hydrodynes have you owned? I saw that there was a Bano brother transaction which got my attention a couple years back. I am up to three (ownership) and holding.

I currently have four Hydrodynes in my possession. (2) 18 footers and (2) 20 footers. (Two of them are for sale.)

Over the last 15 years I have had 12 Dynes. I have probably looked at more than 8-10 additional that I have walked away from
because of poor condition. It is sort of a hobby with me .

Thanks for the response Bob. I never doughted your expertise and experience regarding these hulls. Was just curious regarding what you had come accross and what tripped the trigger to purchase.

The Ice age is leaving the Midwest this week (72 degrees tomorrow) and we'll hopefully be on the water soon!

I think the trailer alone makes that price worth it. Has good bones for a restore.
