I had that exact same motor on my 1st real boat - a 10' GW Invader. That motor eventually elvoled into the Merc classic 4 cyl 50 hp. An excellent choice in a classic motor for a classic boat. But that motor will not propell the boat fast enough for slalom ski speeds. 2 skiis it should be fine. What lake are you going to run the boat on? Ich vas Amerikan soldat im Deutchland 1977-81.
