Hey Guys, I still haven't gotten the Dyne home here yet, so I tore into that B-18 'core'.
(history: I like to have 'at least' one motor/trans for what ever I own as a back-up just in case something goes wrong..)

I only paid 20.00 for the complete B18 and since it sat outside for who knows how long didn't expect too much. Well pulled the head and looks like #2 is corroded in the bore and won't know if its' the block or just an open valve that got water/moisture in until I pound them all out.
The rest of it looked pretty clean considering it was sitting outside in a pile for years.

Been googling for a few days and am coming up with a few different pistons.
Are they different design as the Automotive pistons?

Also, is there a good supplier for these old parts? The threads I read are from back in the early-mid 2000's.
Again, looking for pistons, bearings and the like. (already found a place that can regrind the cam for a better profile. (Volvo specific)

    Thanks. E
