I am looking at a second boat; a '77 or '78 with a MerCruiser Is that likely to be a 305? Thanks for any help here. Is there a record of the motors used in Hydrodynes?
Ok, it is an 898; presumably a 305 with a two barrel and ~198hp. I now own it; a '78 with less than 800hrs that appears well maintained. It comes with a Hydrodyne trailer. It has not been run for the last three years so we will move slowly with the recommissioning.
