it is a 1976. the club i bought it from used it from 1976 to 1986,then it sat on the roadside for a year at our local marina until i asked if it was for sale. I offered them $800,they said lets go lower,i said $500,again they said lower then i just said $300 and they said SOLD! (first time the seller asked the purchaser to lower the price) IF I HAD NOT COME ALONG THIS DYNE WOULD HAVE BEEN A GIANT FLOWER POT AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE CLUB DE SKINAUTIQUE SHOW SITE!
club de ski nautique? Have you heard of Robert Albright? I skied with him in San diego and Sea World training program.
Yes,i do know him, after i looked at your reply i talked to his mother ,who is our local postmaster. She said robert and tina recently got back from a reunion for some show skiers! p.s. do you own a dyne?
I did get to see Robert, Tina and Jordan in San Diego last month. It was good to see Robert again. Yes, I have a '71 dyne that was in our local club in Wisconsin Rapids for years. A buddy of mine started the restoration process and I have since taken over. It was set back in the mold back in the late '80's and the floor has been redone since then again. I had to redo the transom to make it ready for the 200 Yamaha. It now has a new coat of paint and is ready for mounting, seats, carpet, etc. This year snuck up on me and left, so it will be 2007 before it hits the water again. It has not been in the water now for close to 5 years. So I assume maybe you know Mitch Kaiser, DAve Ohnstad, and the rest of the Albrights then? Later Dan
