Looking for information on two items:

    1) Where can I get replacement rub rail? My Hydrodyne had a white rub rail that wraps over the deck. It has a blue insert in it.

    2) I have the old style (steel) ski tow bar. I noticed later boats switched to an aluminum post with reinforcing bars. Mine is starting to bend after years of use. Can I get the steel assembly repaired (rebent and tempered) or should I replace and if so, any idea for a source?

    Thanks,

    HeavyT

    Hello HeavyT

Go to the "about dynes" section and look under Restoration. You will find information on the rub rail issue. You need to look up Wefco Rubber on the internet. You need die no. 187-1, I believe, as the proper extrusion cast for a new rub rail. It will be 2 or 3 hundred bucks, as I recall.

I'll let others help you on the tow pilon. I am not as knowledgeable there....

    Good luck!
