in a few other posts i have pictures of the inside of the Hydrodyne and you can see in one two aluminum gas tanks in the stern that i have to remove to replace the sub floor and there is a third in the bow guessing at around 36 gallons in the back and a 15 in the bow, i want to lighten the stern area so was thinking of removing those two tanks and maybe go smaller but not sure. With a 1974 Johnson 115 does anyone have any idea of the burn amount in an hour of fast running? ty have a great day take care.

When the show that I was part of back in the day we had a twin rig with 115 Johnsons. We had an 18 gal tank in the bow and 2 6 gallon stern tanks. At half time we switched over so we burned 30 gallons in a 1.5 hour show.

The one 18 gallon bow tank is plenty for a single rig.
