Who's going this year? I will be going for the first time (and after only 10 years in the show skiing biz.).
Another new 18'? That's not fair! I wanted to still have the newest one! I'll have to see if I can meet up with you guys sometime.
Sounds like Tom was convinced at Nationals. We all talked to him about showing an 18 at a tournament or other place. I think the response will be well received by all there. I am glad he made another. If I were a betting person I would say the ride in the hot rod with the 250 on the back is probably what influenced him to show them off again in his booth! lol Take care all. Greg
Greg, I think you are right. At the Nationals Tom told me he is only building a handful of boats, and these were only the boats the clubs were buying. If he could bring out an affordable 18 footer, and attract the recreational skier, it could be good for him and his company. I really wish him the best on his endeavor. Bob
Tom had an 18 and a 20 there. Both were shining examples of classic dynes. There didn't seem to be very much traffic around any of the boats, but Tom mentioned he had a few leads on the 18. I hope at least one of them pans out. Would be good to see some more baby dynes around.
Good Morning Everyone I am new to the website and I see people talking about the Think Tank. Could someone tell me what the Think Tank is and can anyone go to this Event and where is it at and is it each year. Thank you Ken
Think Tank is now the Wisconsin Water Ski Convention & Expo. It is every year at the end of February. It consists of instructional clinics for all forms of skiing, especially show skiing. There is also an expo area with numerous vendors. This year they have moved the event to the Green Bay area. More info will be available over the next few months. Greg
