Well, my Volvo Penta BB70/AQ80 has gone ka-put! Does anyone have this engine that they would consider selling? I am restoring my '61 and want to keep it as original as possible! You can view the pics in the picture forum.

Did you ever find a motor?

Actually, I had the motor rebuilt and I restored the boat. You can read about it under "warm story for a cold day" and you can find pictures of the rebuild in the restoration section.

Just outa curiosity.. What did the rebuild of the motor go for?
The buddy Im getting it from said that he had it running and picked up another whole motor(haven't messed with said motor yet) just to have spare.
Also, thought about modding in two sea-do motors/drives if a rebuild is gonna be terribly expensive.

    Thanks E

cost me over a grand but I did it because of nostalgic reasons. It would probably depend on what kind of shape the motor is in though.
