where to buy a new or rebuilt lower unit

    1995 Hydrodyne Grand Sport
    Ski Team:
    Pomona Lake Ski Team
    I have a 2002 - 150 optimax that needs a new lower unit on the starboard engine. (20 inch) Looking for a good quality and good price. Where are you getting lower units?

    Check the web site "Scream and Fly"

    They have a used part section just for lower units.

    I would have yours rebuilt by a reputable shop. Then you know what you have. The SEI units have gears made in china. Scream and Fly is a high performance site and some of their stuff has been used pretty hard.

    Too good to be true is usually a bad deal.
