Hey guys, Does anyone have a picture they could share, of an installed barefoot boom? Specifically in liking to see/ know what people are using for the vehicle mounting bar. On an inboard they use the ski pole to mount the boom, no sure how to do it on my "new" 1984 hydrodyne.
Hey Guys, on my boat, my pylon is a single pole, and is mounted just behind my rear bench. I'm likely going to have to fabricate a some kind of short floor mounted brushed aluminum tubing. just wanted to see pic of that detail. River rat, i like your product but I don't think it will work for me. I wish I could upload some pictures, my Dyne is stripped right down and ready for a cold Canadian winter. Maybe this link will work: https://goo.gl/photos/66dCn43vPFTvDmwH7 https://goo.gl/photos/8vYDdKmRPHPJwPMd9 https://goo.gl/photos/tpP3NGaWJzLEu3AM6 https://goo.gl/photos/foM59rogBPYEW9iW8
The boom mounts on the pylon just like I stated before. I have a KW boom for your boat in my storage unit. I will try and get it out, mount it, and send a picture if I get a chance.
Thanks Dynebob1, I just bought a used boom and was thinking of installing it similar to how it would be mounted on an inboard ski boat. Have you seen that been done on a 20?
dynebob, I bought an offset boom from an inboard ski boat and want to mount just infront of where the spotter sits (middle of the boat). I posted a link to the picture I took. Im going to try and fabricate a permanent height adjuster for the boom. similar to this product http://www.wholesalemarine.com/barefoot-international-boom-height-adjuster-for-ski-boats.html heres the photo of how the boom looks in the boat (before I tarped it for the winter) https://goo.gl/photos/D8ArRs4x2e5RjczW8
