    Daniel,

Yes...that is my boat. I bought it as a fixer upper, and have putzed around with it over the summer. I recently finished a complete rebuild..repaint of the trailer.(new tires..brngs..wiring..lights..recarpeted the bunks..striping and decals) It has a '84 175h.p. O.M.C. There are a few minor details I've still have to do, and then will be going up for sale in the spring.

    Erich,
Sounds like the one you bought from them is a real workhorse. Mine was a dark blue hull with the white accents. It was a little "ruff" when I got it, but I massaged it back into shape and it and it served me well for the years I owned it.

Yeah, over the years we have talked about a new boat to replace our single rig, but it makes no sense. I would never want to put a new boat in that spot because it is our utility boat for club stuff and has rescued a few boats on the lake before as it often ends up on my lift on busy ski team weekends. The transom, stringers and floor were redone in 2001 and we figured we should get 10 years out of that rebuild. Maybe by 2011 we'll have a beat up twin rig that can take its spot.

I can see some value in the hook pylons but with all the pulling off the transom we do now I just think it would be in the way.

Here is a picture of the BEFORE when he purchased the boat. I can't believe that is the same trailer!
