I've been having some starter issues ever since I picked up my 1995 Hydrodyne Grand Sport last year. It has the typical click when trying to start. It appears that sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn't, and other times if I hold the key in the start position it does nothing for a second of two (most common), then begins cranking over randomly. It ALWAYS starts one way or another. I replaced the two relays and have a new starter including the lower solenoid attached that I have not installed yet. I have not changed the upper hidden solenoid yet either. Does anyone have any input or direction so I don't just throw parts at it until the starter system is new? It has the PCM GT40 EFI engine with the boat and engine having 309 hours on it currently. Everything else is perfect, and I just want to bring its proper life back to it!
