Anyone using a boom on an 18 footer?

I was talking to Chuck from Lake Elmo a couple weeks ago at the minneapolis boat show, and he said that KW makes a combo boom and extended pylon that works on 18' dynes. It's supposedly a very adjustable height boom. He claims it goes high enough to take someone over the jump on a short line. That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen to me, but that's just me. Any way, I'm planning on checking into it more pretty soon. Will keep you posted.
