    Greetings,
Just got my boat back from having the bottom re-gelcoated. Very pleased with the job. Next is the deck, seat frames, and side panels. Also installed a new floor, Cleaned and painted the motor, and restored the gauge cluster. Progress,,,,,,,,,

    Beautiful!

Was the balsa-core in good shape and all that was requireed was new stringers? If so, you have dodged a gremlin for the early hydrodynes that sat "in the back 40", raised up on the trailer and uncovered. Keep postin your progress.

I forgot to mention. If you havn't glassed in the floor and are using polyester resin (not epoxy), seal the plywood on both sides with a thinned resin and acetone mixture (50/50 as I recall) 2 coats on both sides prior to installing. I would also recommend securing the deck to the stringers with construction adhesive such as PL 500 (weighted down while curing) over SST screws to prevent the creation of moisture migration pathways which lead to rot.
