    What is the most horsepower anyone has seen on an old 18. I have seen twin 150's on one. I beleive it was the old Wausaqua teams boat.

    The Aquanut's also ran twin 150's back in the day.

    The club in Alton had one with two 175 mercs on it a few years ago. I don't remember how much bow ballast he was running, but the boat sat quite low in the water. He said he was going to convert to two 200's. I don't know if he ever did. I think they have since folded.

    Hydrodyne 18 Ft 1978
    The Sarasota Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show has a 18Ft that had a 300 Yamaha. We got rid of that motor after only a couple months and replaced it with a Merc 225 Opti max and was much happier.
