Well, I think a good time was had by all at the Fifth Annual "Southwest Regionals" 2006!!!

For those who are not in the know, this is a gathering of "Classic Glass" from all over the state of California and represents for the most part the various manufacturers from the 1950's through 1960's. It was my fifth year organizing it and I still get gitty as the boats and owners arrive. 2MERCS and his buds attended for the third year in a row and has provided us with the pleasure of watching his "Wheelie" boat in action! One thing was different however this year....I GOT TO GO FOR A RIDE IN IT AND EXPERIENCE THE WHEELIE!

I was amazed at how it floated up and floated down....it was sooooo smooth! It also rode great on the water. He even let me drive it! Been a long time since I was in a fast boat as I own a 1963 Elgin with a 1966 80hp Johnson gracing her transom though she does handle 35-37 mph on smooth water.

Anyway, as soon as I finish writing up the review of the Regionals and go through the pictures I will get them up here as well for all to enjoy and spark interest in others of how great it is to spend a weekend with others and their boats!!!!

Thanks Daniel for all you kind words and support! Oh yeah, and the MARGARITA!

Can't get the two pictures to post.......???

    Hey Denise!

Thanks again for organizing everything!! We had a blast as always. I'll look into the picture problem. Not sure what the issue might be.

Glad you enjoyed our signature margaritas! You have to ask your daughter about the Otter Pop drink too. Yum!

Okay...as far as adding pictures, it's working fine for me. When you make a new message (or reply to this one), go to below the submit button where it says "Filename." Click "Browse." Go to the file you want to upload. Then click "Add the File." That will upload it to the forum, and place it in the post as an attachment.

The strange thing is that I got the upload in progress window, but no image.

    Woo hoo!

Good to see it's working. I didn't use place inline for any of the images above. I didn't think you had to. Weird. At least it's working though. Sweet pic!

Hey Bryan! GREAT as always to see you guys!

"You have to ask your daughter about the Otter Pop drink too. Yum!"

Ok, what is up with that! I had word from one of my friends and she told me "Guess what they use their otter pops for?" LOL! Now why did my daughter get one and not me???

Yeah yeah I know she is younger and cutier! Well, she looks just like me when I was younger...I use to be cute! LOL!

I am going to try and add some pictures again. I was doing it just as you showed and was getting the upload box, but for some reason it wasn't showing up.

Just tried edit again and they went! I guess there may have just been some kind of glitch this morning.
