If you mean the floor, you need a new floor and probably stringers. PM markbano on this forum. He just completed one and has many pictures.

I sent him some pictures and a long winded explanation that should help him. I recommend that anyone doing this work first buy a book by Jim Anderson called "How To Restore An Outboard Boat" (I might have the title slightly wrong but it can be found easily at Amazon.com).

My painter still has the boat but in the meantime my trailer has been finished. It has been blasted, painted white, with new brackets and bunks, new bearings, new wheels and tires, new winch, new wiring and lights, Hydrodyne decals, and red and white pinstriping to match the boat. It almost looks too good to hide by putting a boat on it! I now also have my red white and blue seats. I'm getting anxious for the painter to finish. Not looking good for my hope to get it in the water this summer, at this point...
It has been a long process - hopefully it will be worth it!

    Mark,

My daughter is here on vacation. We have been having a ball with the Dyne. She was doing 360's around the boat last time out. I hope you get it together soon. Mine was down a while in 97 getting redone.
