Hydrodyne flat top- 21 footer volvo 100 aquamatic

    Boat Model and Year:
    1976 Hydrodyne flat top
    bought this thing a year ago and reworked the deck and hull and it look sbeautiful. Now need help on the electronic/electric stuff. The wiring is shot and I can't tell what went to what.
    termination block is shot and wiring pulled off.
    Can't seem to tell the throttle designtions...idle....foward, etc.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Also need help on the twin stromberg carbs-can i replace them and if so with what.

    I need every kind of help I can get.

    It would be wise to find a manual for the wiring. I would rebuild the original carbs. Marine carbs are expensive.

    It should be easy to look at the carbs and tell whether the cable needs to push or pull to open the throttle butterflies. Some experimentation with the shift linkage at the motor end should answer that question for the shift.

    I converted my 18 I/O to an outboard and I love it. That is another option.
