Let me see if I can get hold of the guy again. He stopped responding to my emails. I will get back with everyone in the next couple of days. Daniel
I would be interested too if the holes aline with the old ones. Any idea on the costs yet? Thank You, 76 I/O
Here is an update from the guy wanting to make the logo. I hope someone on here knows CAD. He is asking for the Plot on the logo. I have a scanned image of the actual hydrodyne logo in its full size. Let me know if you can be of assistance. Here is the message he sent me: "unfortunately we got very busy at the shop and I have not had quite the time to get as far along on that as I had wished. But I have gotten some feedback from a source or two to get the image digitized for manufacturing. Apparently this is not all that easy. I absolutely will forge ahead and get this going. If someone out there has that image digitized already and can get a one to one scale "X","Y" plot of it then the rest is the easy part.....For my end anyway, the cutting in either plastic or alum is not a prob. If someone can get the plot info to me in a .DXF format I would make a set or two for them no cost. Maybe one of the members does reverse prototyping and would be willing to help. It would help expedite this whole process..............."
Here is the latest: "I should have a sample for you to look at in a few weeks. The digitizing is in process and then the rest should go smooth. I'd like you to look at it and see if it passes muster. If it looks good then I will probably take "orders" and make to suit." - Pete We should have a good source for new logos. These can be made in the original plastic or in aluminum that can be powder coated. Daniel
Where do things stand with this? We are restoring a 1964 Hydrodyne and new name plate would be welcome!!!!
Two (or more depending on cost) for me please, was considering this anyway as part of the restoration.
Does anyone know where this all went? My '71 is just starting a restoration and I could use a new set; AL or plastic.. Thanks for any response on where they might be available.
