How many of us barefooters have done face plants, and cursed under thier breath, or outloud even at personal water craft operator's, for wrecking what otherwise would have been nice footable glass? Personal water craft's are to barefooters like mosquitos are to campers!

My biggest problem with them is when they cut real close trying to do something off the wake of your boat. What makes it even worse is the fact there is very little wake behind a Dyne and they choose to do it anyway.

The jetski crowd are just plain idiots 99% of the time. According to the Coast Guard though, they have the lowest fatality rate per vessel out of any boat. Hard to believe since they're involved in over 50% of all boating accidents.

I agree with you guys. I understand that everyone has a right to a lake, but I find that jet skiers are always in the way mostly because they dont pay attention to other boaters.

How about when they jump your wake when you are pulling a skier? <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" border="0" alt="Evil or Very Mad" title="Evil or Very Mad" />

Hmmm, maybe it is time to change my avatar.

Unfortunately the personal water craft people for some reason feel that they don't have to follow the same rules as regular size boats. Let's face it, If you or I were to to drive our dynes in the same fashion as they do, (spinning around in circles, then blasting off in God knows what direction without paying any attention, or looking where they are going!) we would be hauled off to jail by the local County Sheriff, The DNR or what ever Law enforcement agency that's on the water.
