Hey, that's my old stomping grounds! That use to be where we went all the time. I liked using my Dyne there because the river was much more safe there compared to Elgin or South Elgin. Not to mention Boy Scout Island was just 5-8 minutes from my old house in South Elgin.

I went skiing today. Air temp, 80+ water temp, do not know, tolerable in swim shorts. Here in Oregon, we usually get a period of good weather late Sept, early October. The Wallys are gone, not many water rats (pwcs), the water was nice and flat. Sorry, I used my other running boat, an inboard "N" brand, 1997, ski boat 19' 6" long, with a closed bow. A small reward for working on ripping the transom out of my hydrodyne.

The water temperature here is 62. I hope to get some skiing in over the next few days before it drops into the 50s. Let's hope the dock starts/beach landings go off with no snafus.

Mark, I found this mixed in with my Chain Skimmers programs.

Be careful in that cold water. That's a little too brisk for me. That boat needs to get back to you quick if you fall.

You mom had to explain the title of the thread to me I did not get that it is a take of on the Lipton Tea ad.

That's ok Dad, I inherited the silliness gene from mom. And yes Dad, I'll be careful. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="Very Happy" title="Very Happy" />

So you didn't like Bruce Lee and the Karate Kid? There was an Elvis ad you might have enjoyed more but I couldn't find that one.

Yes, I skied today. It was 83 and it was a "no fall show" Phew. How could I resist this? Actually I took this picture last night.

I'll say. I'm moving to Peoria!

I like the Skeeter. I'm going to E-Mail that up North to my dad. Thanks!
