It's lonely being a 17.6

    I know you 18 owners think you are hot stuff, cuz let's face it, you are. But, there are many advantages to the 17.6 as well. For example:

    That hull surprised me. They have a 75hp limit on their lake. The boat hauls the six of us and still skis very well. The additional foot in the width makes a lot of difference.

    She won the nationals with it the first year they had it.

    Great pictures!

    18, 17.6 or 20, these boats will always be the true original ski boats and they make for great ski team and family memories - and great photo ops. Heck, even Racoons like them! ;)

    I have yet to try out a 17.6 or a 20 but hope to at some point. One thing that I really like about your particular 17.6 is the "Hydrodyne" name on the back of the boat. I wonder how many were made under the Hydrodyne name...
