Hi everyone. We just bought a 67 flat top with Chrysler Inline 6. We are having trouble with charging of battery. When we use the water pump, (only with engine on) It drains the battery. We were cruising along having a good time, when it died and would not start. Thank goodness we brought extra battery. Wonder what is the most logical reason for this? Don't get me wrong, we love this boat, we just don't want to get stranded again. (first time out, we never thought about taking extra battery!) I will put pics of on tomorrow. :?:
