Lake Delton and the Bartlett show

    There is a thread over at show skiers about this complete with links to pictures. The Bartlett show is shut down because the lake drained.

    The Lake Drained? Was it drained or did it Dry up?

    They had a lot of rain and the level got very high--above the Bartlett stage. It then washed out the lake shore near the Wisconsin river and most of the lake escaped into the river causing flooding down stream and draining the lake. The dam itself did not fail.
