Does someone have a copy of the Hydrodyne logo from a 1974 18 in an electronic format that I could take to my local vinyl decal maker to get some made for my boat?

    Thanks, Bernie

    Hi Bernie:

Not exactly sure what you are looking for. I had the following logos on my 75 installed in 77 according to the original invoice. I have an autoCAD file of them as well if this is what tou are needing.

Thanks Kevin but the one I am looking for is the earlier logo in script, just like the Hydrodyners logo without the 'rs'.

What I want is to replace the emblems that I don't have with decals.

    Hi Bernie:

I know there was a post or two about recreating the plastic raised side embelums a while ago (maybe even before the website changed its format). They were supposed to be aluminum to my recollection. You might inquire to where the production ended up (or the availibility of the decal versions as well, not sure in either case).

If you are going to re-badge your boat, I suggest that you might as well go big with the Hydrodyne Boats TM logo as well, They are a calling card for interest. It was $20 a side ($40 total) for my HD 20 i/o last summer and they are perfect reproductions (my autoCAD guy and I re-did them 3 times to get them absolutely right).

Attached is a pic of the 75 that is now in Avon, CO with the raised plastic embelums and the HD Boats Logo. 08.JPG

Brush Script is what is used for the Hydrodyners logo, but it is not quite the same font. I'm not sure what font (if any) was used on the original. Very possible it was just hand drawn and machined.

You're welcome! If you need me to send you the font, just let me know. Not sure if it's one of the defaults or not.
