Today the boat spent its day with the fiberglass/paint guy, who also is a very good welder. He strengthened some areas and added some nice features. For example, he put extensions on the transom tie-downs so that the transom tie downs are not against the boat during travel. He also installed a roller at the bottom of the trailer for the transom saver brace to fit onto for trailering. Pretty slick. Pictures attached. In the fall, he is going to add two more bunks further out on the trailer for more support, but we're out of time for now. Tomorrow the newly welded areas get paint, and Sat. the boat will be on its way to the Northwoods. MarkBano
