The two stars of the MarkBano Hydrodyne video show (you HAVE watched it, haven't you??? -- in the media section on this website....)

.... engaged in their winter endeavors in the back yard on Monday evening.

The Arctic Cat Kitty Cat snowmobiles provide 60cc of raw 2-stroke power. There is even a website very similar to this one set up in honor of the "Kitty Cats" ... http://www.kittycatsnowmobiles.com. Ideal for your junior waterskiier for winter fun.

Do they look like they are having fun?

And...yes... they are required to do their own maintenance...

As I've pointed out to them, I'm not willing to be their personal mechanic so if they want high maintenance machines then they need to be willing to do the dirty work. I'm happy to oversee and order parts...

I will say, however, that this tough love back fired (no pun intended) when one of them dropped his spark plug on the floor, closing the gap, and then installed it anyway. It took me 2 hours to figure out the problem....

Nobody said being a parent would be easy...

    Mark,

Hold on to those sleds. They are classics, and worth some money.
Not too many of those around anymore.

The smallest sleds made now are 120cc and are considerably bigger so these Kitty Cats are getting harder to find. I did find two of them and had to do some driving to go get them but it has paid off. Just watching those boys' faces light up, and watching them side-slip around the turns brings a big smile to my face!

Winter also makes you appreciate Fyne Dyning in summer that much more.

Honestly, I couldn't live without all the different seasons we get here in the midwest. Each season represents a change of the routine. Of course, in recent years, fall and winter have been overlapping so we end up trying to get the leaves up between snow falls.

I can see the benefits of nice warm weather all year around, though...

OK, I am a wimp and a weakling. I don't like winter. I did my time removing 4 days worth of snow and ice from my car in the middle of the night in the O'Hare parking lot. I don't miss that.

I like 4 seasons too. I look at them on TV. It will be close to 80 here tomorrow.
