So after a long restoration process, stringer, floor, transom ect., my 18 which I have never had in the water is ready for her new motor,an E-TEC 200. Any tips, tricks or advice on any part of this? prop, steering, control, cables? I have read previous post, but wonder about your thought in this case.

    thanks,
    justin

16 pitch black SS is my recommendation, part number is on this site somewhere, I don't have it in front of me anywhere. Second choice would probably be a 17 pitch BRP rebel.
    Seastar steering, cylinder number HC5345.
I have the new BRP control on my boat which is the same as the Yamaha control, it should work well, otherwise you can try the Teleflex or Morse inboard style control.

Are you getting the small block 200 or the HO 3.3L?

    Justin,

Any photos of your completed rehab project?

I'd love to see them, as I'm sure other members would too....

It is the small block, not the H.O. , I will work on rounding up some pic of the restoration project.

In that case I would avoid the rebel props, too big of diameter. The standard round blade props work the best on the small block motors.
