New Photo of the Month?

That twin is from the Aquanuts. That is Brian Shuffle driving it. If I am not mistaken that pic is from one of their old post cards they use to sell. I think I have video of that boat here somewhere from WI state. They use to bring their own jump ramp and face them opposing each other. Kinda like Bartlett's.

 

Post cards... now that wouldn't be a bad idea for the store.

 

Guess who just found some awesome video footage of that twin from the Nuts?????? Yepper. It was from WI state from 1982 I believe. It shows the twin pulling their jump act and their pyramid and some footers. Bad ass! Like I said it also shows the other jump that they brought too. Pretty cool. And later on on the same tape is the Chain Skimmer's show with their 18 and the COBIA! Twin 200s baby. That thing was a beast in its day. They started the show with their boat intro. I am gonna make a copy of all this old school stuff for you Daniel, then you can post it on here for everyone to enjoy.

A classic picture. I might have to vote for that one myself. I actually had to go back and look at the POTM listing because I couldn't believe this picture has not yet been up there.

If the twin you're talking about is the one with Tom and Bev Miller in the picture, the owner goes by the name "Mr. Burk". Nice guy...we spent alot of time talking at the Nationals last year.

I just spent the last 4 hours making an entire video of numerous different old videos from the early to mid 80s at WI state. Numerous 18s used back then. The footage I have of the Aquanut twin 18 is from WI state 1981. Same footage is from then also on the matching Cobia and Dyne. I also sent you some video of me playing around on the lake too. Like I said a very cool mix of things for the media section. I will mail it out to you in the next few days. :good:

 

I also just found some video footage from 1993. It has Jim's 18 with the refrigerator in the back before the conversion was made to an outboard. I added it to the video for you Daniel.
