We have a 1964 tournament skier outboard. My father has owned it since he bought it after seeing it in the 1964 worlds fair. There is some arguement becouse I have been told that it could not be becouse of the year. anyway, we traded the origial twin 110s for a single 150 evinrude in 1987. We stoped using the boat in 98 or 99 where it has sat in the driveway till this week. She needs alot of cosmetic work.I was wondering if anyone could help with any original info. I would like to find the original corner pieces and maybe replace the rubber on the outside edge.It also needs paint and was looking to get as close to the original shades of stripes as possible. Also, any tips on starting the engine? everything looks good after all those years, the carbs look clean, the plugs look brand new.we plan on changing the fuel lines and filters. any other tips before we try to start it? Thanks
    ps
I found this site today and love it!
