This is a Great site and it is a pleasure knowing theres a group of guys out there that are as wacky about a lot of the same things I am...unfortunately I sold my Hydrodyne a couple of days ago .I had it for 21 years and it needed to go to someone who can take it to the next level .between my wife and a lack of time it needed a new home...my question is now that I have no Hydrodyne are you guys going to kick me out of the club ... ?..,. I hope not, I really like this group... and you never know my next Hydrodyne may be around the next corner.
    thanks ... Tony Cecola

    Well......
I am the lucky guy who purchased Tony's 18 foot Hydrodyne. This boat is a fine example of what someones love for a boat can be. Tony owned this boat for 21 years and had a complete Mark Bano type rebuild done to it in the early 90's. He had a local marine dealer who specializes in Hydrodynes pull off the deck..replace the floors..transum..(make up a transum reinforcement) ...rebuilt powerhead..new Mastercraft interior...make up side bolsters...all new gagues and controls..repaint the boat...and install a show ski Mercury Marine pylon. Tony currently owns 5 other boats including a Mastercraft and Supra ski boats and with the limited interior space in the Dyne, it sort of sat on the side lines. Tony put the boat in a storage barn where it sat for the last five years, and recently decided to sell it. I spoke to Tony last night, and he said he will miss it and doesn't rule out owning another Hydrodyne at some point in his life.

    Bob
