The 18 does not see much use unless our daughter is here. We ran it quite a bit the last week and a half. It performed flawlessly. I love putting it broad side to the beach so everyone can just step in from ankle deep water, then give it a little shove out and we are off. I have not changed the plugs since 2003. There are two new sets on the shelf here. This winter it will get a new water pump and new plugs. I don't know how much time I have in that boat, but it is a lot. I never get tired of it. jim
