Any info on who, what, when, where? We all know why already.... bragging rights, of course!

I heard of a similar attempt a few years ago somewhere around seatle, I think. From what I recall, it didn't work though.

    Sorry, don't have any info.

It came in a Powerpoint slide presentation that my wife got from a friend.

It contained a number of other images of things you don't see every day.

I did one quick count and came up with 99. Any other counts?

The rooster tale looks to be about 10 ft.

They have similar boats running between the west coast and Catalina Island. Those things with a full load will cruise at 50+ mph without really working too hard. At full speed, the rooster tails are EASILY 100ft. or more feet. These things are intense. I can't imagine it having any problem pulling that many skiers.

    Let's see,

In the Evinrude infomercial the triple 225 pulled 48, so I think there are triples around that could pull 50. So, two triple riggs could equal that pull.

For those of you that have not seen the show ski nationals, I urge you to come if you like this kind of stuff. You will see stuff that looks impossible as the big teams try to out do each other.

See a twin rig jump up on plane with as many skiers as can stand up in the boat and then bring them back all bare footing for instance or hot pickups on big prefab pyramids.

I don't think that I like those wake characteristics. It kind of reminds me of a boat we've got around here (see attached). Time to get after some spring cleaning.
