My buddies and I used to debate this. My boat has the blue stripe closest to the bow and theirs had the red stripe closest. Is there really any "official" rule on this?
Since we have seen them both ways, I doubt that there is any standard pattern. That is a good question for bevcrosbymiller. She can ask Tom, I think he put a lot of them on. jim
ours had red close to the seats then white then green close to the front do you think that is possible or what it was a custom job. dad says it was always red &green
I've seen them both ways, but having studied my vast collection of pictures to make this very determination, it seems like the majority have the red stripe closest to the bow. It is an interesting historical question that I have pondered often. Bev?
I seen quite a few of the strips put on over the years ( as a kiid running around the shop) and I can remember a set sequence for the stripe, other than the white was always in the middle!
