    Making Plans for 2007

As everyone knows we need to start figuring out what we might be able to do as a group at this years 2007 nationals. I believe DyneGreg mentioned having a BBQ at his place. I will be making up some shirts for the event. I am not sure about the use of personal boats at the event so someone will have to fill me in. The Dates are 8/10-8/12 2007.

I will be flying out and renting a car. I will be out there from the evening of the 9th and flying back Monday the 13th.

What are everyones suggestions. The time will be upon us in a hurry so lets go.

We have reservations at the Clock Tower. Two of our children and three of our grandchildren will be there. There will plenty of time to socialize at the site.

There is a lot to see in the booths with several boat dealers and manufacturers there including Tom and Bev Miller. There will be lots of equipment dealers there also. Food is available on site.

There will be many club Dynes to look at also and check out their set ups, props etc.

There will be clubs there that are all Dyne. I think every club will have at least one for big pulls.

There are many good restaurants in town.

Personal boats can be used, but the best viewing is from the site.

    See you there,

    jim

Clock Tower is building an indoor water park. Don't think it will be ready by August. There is a brand new Hilton that was built this last fall. It is kitty corner to the Clock Tower. Since it is so new a lot of regulars do not know about it, therefore they probably have rooms available.

I have pretty good information which suggests that the new Dynegreg mystery boat may be of the variety that will be big enough to hold the Hydrodyners floating cocktail party.

I cannot reveal my sources so don't ask.

I'm going to mark my calendar for the event. I'm just in Naperville so I guess I could just go for the day, too. But it might be fun to stay at the clocktower.

Moved some of the off topic items from this topic to a new topic called other fast things in "The Beach" Due to the off topic nature.

As time draws closer to the 2007 Ski Show Nationals I felt it needed to put up an attendance roster. So click on the link at the bottom of this page and let us all know if you are planning on attending.

    Thanks,

It looks like the rooms are booked already. I have gotten rooms at the last moment by checking for cancellations. Don't rely on them calling you though. We will have three of our grandchildren there and they love to get together at the pool. It is sort of a reunion for them.

There are other small towns very close to Rockford that offer motels, although it would mean a few minutes drive to reach them. I will be in that area in the next couple of weeks and I will take a close look for them.

    Thats Great Tim,

I am going to have some time in the next week. I am on the Day shift for the next 1-2 weeks so I will have no constraints in the evening. I will give you a call.
