    Mark,

    Why not explore this possibility?

Compare how much you will lose on it if you sell to the possible repair costs if something does go wrong. Also factor in the cost of another motor. I know how you feel, that is a complex motor. I wish you lived closer because I could get it worked on for reasonable prices.

You're probably right on the math. I haven't looked at it that closely.

I'm not in a hurry to do anything just yet so we'll see what happens with the boat painting deal here over the next two weeks. I'm going to call the guy again tomorrow.

My oldest son and I watch all the movies and videos on this website at least 2 or 3 times a week. We are really anxious to have our boat back...

No apology necessary. I happen to agree with your oberservation that in many cases only the lawyers win. You shouldn't retract it. It is accurate and it is no slight on lawyers. Unfortunately, when you try to explain that to clients who want to litigate themselves and their opponents to death they don't listen, and then at the end of the day when things end up exactly nowhere, as you've advised and warned the client, they are still angry that they have to pay the legal bills to do the fighting. Of course, it costs money to litigate, and when you litigate without any real hope of recovery, the lawyer is the only one who ends up getting paid. Of course, I like getting paid, and I'm happy to admit it! Smile

My brother is a doctor, so I hear every single lawyer joke known to man (and woman), since that is apparently a favorite operating room subject. I can - and regularly do - tell some pretty good lawyer jokes myself!

Have you heard the one about the lawyer and the plumber? The lawyer hired a plumber to fix his sink. When the plumber finished and handed the lawyer his invoice, the lawyer was alarmed, and remarked - "gosh - I'm a lawyer and I don't charge that much!" The plumber smiled, and responded "don't feel bad, I didn't charge this much when I was a lawyer, either."

Now.... Let's talk about plumbers.... Wink

    Mark,

This is a true story. My brother is a retired airline pilot too. He had his doctor on board once. He had always had to wait during his visits to this doctor and made this announcement on the PA, or something like it.

Ladies and gentleman this is your captain. My doctor is on board sitting in seat 4B. Since he has made me wait at least 30 minutes for every visit I am going to pull over for thirty minutes before taking off. I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I am going to turn off the seat belt sign so you may get up and discuss it with him. He waited a few seconds and retracted it. Tell that one to your brother.
